Not many people would foresee pencils as a form of art or decoration but they do create one of a kind art that appeals.
These pencil carvings are created by Mizuta Tasogara and Kato Jado. The delicate woodwork is much harder than it looks, pattern carves has to be made without making any miscut on the naked lead inside. These pencil carvings had been entered in the 11th ‘Hands Taisho’ contest and won the Planning Prize. 9 more pics after the jump.
